The Sinnlehen alm hut in Leogang
The destination for young and old!
The Sinnlehenalm is temporarily closed. We will be back for you from May 11th!
From the Sinnlehen alm hut you have a breath taking view to relax over Leogangs valley, the Leoganger Steinberge (Leogangs mountains) and the Birnhorn (2.634m) that’s also a mountain in Leogang. The alm hut is in the holiday region Saalfelden – Leogang in the federal state Salzburg (Austria) at an altitude of approximately 950 meters. It’s easy to reach from Leogang or Hirnreit by foot or with the mountain bike.
It is also no problem to hike up to our alm for children. The hiking trail leads between slightly rising field meadows and partly shady forest trails to the Sinnlehenalm. The idyllic Sinnlehenalm is a beautiful destination for old and young.
There is an alpine snack waiting for you as soon as you get up there. It contains freshly baked bread, butter, bacon and cheese.
Our little guests have time to play at our playground. It has a swing, a slide and a sand pit. The children can also feed and pat the rabbits up there.
You can also use our alm hut for birthdays or for festive occations. We also offer alpine snacks for this.

Walking time: approx. 45 minutes - from Leogang town center, approx. 3 km
Walking time: approx. 30 minutes, easy
You can hike from our alm to the snack station Huggenberg and to the summer toboggan run in Saalfelden, Walking time: approx. 1 hour, easy.
A longer hiking tour to the Sinnlehen alm hut is also possible, if you walk over the Saalachtaler Höhenweg over the asitz, Walking time: approx. 5 hours.
